QPR vs FULHAM PREVIEW

Last week, saw QPR continue a disappointing restart to our championship campaign with another lacklustre performance away at championship strugglers Charlton losing 1-0, Fans have questioned the players commitment and care to the cause with our play-off hopes almost certainly dashed, but with Derby games they say form goes out the window and I’m hoping for QPR’S sake this is the case and we turn up against Our West London Rivals. We have to improve it’s as simple as that, we’ve not been anywhere near good enough to even threaten scoring or dominate games, there have been glimpses of our fast and sharp attacking football but we can all agree that we haven’t seen enough of it and this style that we play will be a vital part if we want to Beat Fulham. Fulham like to dictate games with possession-based football and that could play into our hands, letting them keep the ball and when we can turnover possession we have to attack first and penetrate the Fulham defence at every given opportunity. This is a huge game for both sides, Pride is at stake, Bragging rights is at stake and both sides will be looking to get a win under their belts after neither Fulham or QPR have managed to do so yet.
QPR: Rangers Lost Last time out to Charlton 1-0 with Darren Pratley scoring the only goal in what was yet another dismal display for R’s fans to watch, and Mark Warburton will be keen to avoid 3 defeats in a row for the first time since January. Fans have called upon squad rotation and giving Youngster Aramide Oteh a chance upfront and what a chance it could be for the youngster to prove himself as a future Rangers Striker. Charlie Owens has undergone surgery and will be out for 6 Months so it looks likely we won’t see him until early next season. Other than that, QPR have no new injury concerns, Luke Amos and Todd Kane came off the bench against Charlton so they could be in line to start against Fulham Under The lights at Loftus Road.

Fulham: Fulham Lost last time out to Leeds United 3-0 With Patrick Bamford, Ezgjan Alioski and Jack Harrison wrapping a very convincing win for title chasing Leeds United, it’s fair to say Fulham lost their composure in that game despite it actually being a fairly evenly contested game. Fulham will be without two of their key players for this game, Aleksander Mitrovic has received a 3-match ban for violent conduct following an elbow on Leeds United Centre Back Ben White, Neeskens Kebano was almost sent off for two bookable offences so Fulham will have to rotate their previous line up. Other than those suspensions Fulham no new injury concerns to worry about.
This will be tense affair between two teams who are in desperate needs for a win for different reasons, I’m an optimistic QPR fan so if we can take our chances against Fulham I can see us contesting for a point if not all three, with Fulham’s quality and our defensive troubles for me it’s a given that Fulham will score so I think I’ll go for a draw on this one.

My Prediction QPR 1-1 Fulham.
