Another disappointing defeat, this time at the hands of high-flying Fulham. Lukas Ross takes a look at how each player performed:
Liam KELLY: 6/10: Made a few decent saves, but was largely at fault for the first goal. Little he could’ve done about Christie’s goal, though.
Todd KANE: 6.5/10: Massively improved on Saturday’s monstrosity of a performance, but should’ve buried a shooting chance in the second half and was subbed off with 10 minutes to go.
Osman KAKAY: 8/10: Looked really comfortable and certainly did not look like someone who has not played a league game since August 2018, when we were trashed 7-1 by West Brom. Looking forward to seeing more of him, one of our best players out there today.
Geoff CAMERON: 3.5/10: Looks so out of depth at centre back. Should not play as centre back and Masterson should always have that position to himself.
Yoann BARBET: 3/10: A rather abysmal performance. I know that he’s jaded after his mrs had a baby during lockdown, but could well do with a rest against the Boro. Also jointly at fault for the second goal for not attempting a block on Christie’s goalbound shot.
Ryan MANNING: 5.5/10: Performed well, should’ve scored but it was just not enough.
Dom BALL: 6/10: Looked a commanding leader in midfield, but looks a shadow of himself before lockdown before being subbed off in second half stoppage time.
Luke AMOS: 5.5/10: Started the game out well but faded throughout. Missed a golden, gilteched chance to make it 2-1. Just a mediocre performance.

Ebere EZE: 4.5/10: What has happened to the Ebere Eze we all know and love? He looks a shadow of his former self post lockdown.
Bright OSAYI-SAMUEL: 5/10: Looked decent, caused the Fulham defence a few problems before being subbed on 80 minutes. His mark is brought down by the fact he was jointly at fault for the second goal when he basically allowed Cyrus Christie a free shot a goal
Jordan HUGILL: 7.5/10: Much better! He opened the scoring after 46 seconds (nice one Tony Incenzo) and looked a major threat throughout. Unlucky not to score a second when he was denied by a fine reflex save from Marek Rodak.

SUBS ON:
Aramide OTEH (for Osayi-Samuel): 6/10: Had another quiet game and had little impact after coming on with 10 minutes to go.
Olamide SHODIPO (for Kane): 7/10: Deserves a start. If he doesn’t after that performance, then I don’t know what does.
Ilias CHAIR (for Ball): N/A: Wasn’t on long enough to make an impact.
CONCLUSION: A hugely disappointing game, should’ve got something out of that. Hugill looked better but still needs his hair cut. We are sleepwalking into the relegation scrap.
